World's first 3D printed engine powered rocket successfully launches in india

A private Indian space firm, Agnikul Cosmos, successfully launched the world’s first rocket powered by a fully 3D-printed engine. This achievement underscores India’s advancements in cost-efficient space technology.

The launch, which marked the first use of a semi-cryogenic engine in India, involved a rocket with the 3D-printed Agnilet engine. This innovative approach significantly reduces manufacturing costs and assembly time.

Agnikul’s facility in Chennai can produce two rocket engines weekly, supporting the company’s goal of cost-effective satellite launch solutions.
